Giselle Quintanilla
Bio:
Giselle Quintanilla is a mother, author, speaker, and entrepreneur. She has 2 amazing boys and a beautiful daughter. Currently, Giselle is working with other women entrepreneurs to maximize their business potential, launching her forthcoming book, The Pain Plan, and working on a coaching program to help others develop their own plan to heal from emotional pain and step into purpose.
Women's History Month Spotlight Interview
Please introduce and tell us about yourself.
I’m Giselle Quintanilla. I’m a mom of 3 amazing kids, I’m Latina, my parents came to the U.S. from Peru over 40 years ago, and I’m originally from Paterson, NJ; born and raised! I moved to southern NJ in 2006 after I had my first child. I’m a writer, I enjoy telling stories, I love to laugh and make others laugh! My passion is definitely helping other people share their life stories or bring their books to life. I love to see people accomplish their writing goals whether it’s in books, blogs, or just writing as a hobby.
Ms. Giselle Quintanilla, you are the Founder/CEO of Ready Writer Services LLC. Please tell the readers about the services you offer to your clients.
I started Ready Writer Services LLC in October of 2018. We offer writing services like our 90-Day Coaching program where we help clients develop their manuscript drafts and ghostwriting for those who have a book they want to release but don’t have the time to write it or simply want a writer to write the draft. We also offer interior design and self-publishing packages that include marketing. Lastly, we will translate books into Spanish for clients who want to expand into the Spanish-speaking market.
It is great that you offer Spanish translation in your publishing services. If someone has a book that they need published in both English and Spanish, how can they contact you about your publishing services?
I love when clients want their books translated because, selfishly, there are so many amazing books that I feel my Latino community can benefit from. So I truly enjoy seeing good books in Spanish! Authors or aspiring authors who would like their books in Spanish can email info@readywriterservicesllc.com or they can call 856-366-3691

You are the author of the book, “Armed & Purposed: 5 Principal Truths to Discover Your Purpose.” Tell us about your book and the reason you wrote it.
Armed & Purposed: 5 Principal Truths to Discover Your Purpose was my very first book and I launched it in 2018 when I launched my first blog, She Speaks Wisdom. My heart for that book was to share my personal journey of uncovering my purpose in life, what I was created to do on this earth. I also wanted to encourage others to start their personal journeys in discovering their purpose. There are so many people just existing in their jobs, in relationships, in different roles and they are frustrated. But walking in your purpose brings fulfillment. This book helps people gain clarity in that.
I found this book title to be very interesting. Tell the readers about your book, “Winning in Your Vows; The Necessity of Singleness.”
Winning in Your Vows is a powerful book on the challenges that marriages face after they have made vows which are covenant promises. And often couples are attacked with challenges and issues, and they don’t know how to overcome and fight for their marriages. The Necessity of Singleness is an anthology featuring 10 co-authors who each tell their story of living single and living for God. Each co-author touches on the struggles and how they overcome being single and saved.
If a person wants to write a book but need advice to get started writing their book. What advice would you give them?
I always tell my clients to just write. Just start writing! If you know that you do better writing by hand, grab a notebook. If you’re good with typing it, then use your computer. But the most important thing is starting, giving yourself a realistic deadline, and setting a writing schedule. Then, I always say, tell someone you trust and who can hold you accountable to your writing goals. Outlines are also a great way to help structure your thoughts but ultimately, just write!
Tell the readers about your book, “Unwritten Words: A Manuscript Writing Guide from Beginning to End.”
Unwritten Words: A Manuscript Writing Guide from Beginning to End is an instructional workbook that walks aspiring authors through the process of developing a manuscript draft. It offers step-by-step directions on how to get started with writing, tips on the editing process, information on publishing and marketing. It also includes a space for readers to write and encouraging words throughout to keep them inspired because the writing journey is not always easy.
Where can the readers order copies of your books?
All of my books are available on Amazon.
Ms. Giselle Quintanilla, you are a Mother, Author, Creative Coach, Editor, Publishing Consultant, Speaker, Director of Communications at Victory In Christ Christian Center and Founder/CEO of Ready Writer Services, LLC. How do you create a work/life balance?
Oh my, that is a lot! But I truly believe that when you’re operating in purpose and doing what you love, you are graced for your assignments! Discipline and managing my time appropriately also helps. I use a scheduling app and I schedule everything from family events to work and business, even naps! I’m also very careful about giving myself days of rest.
What is one of your greatest accomplishments?
I would say one of my greatest accomplishments is being a present parent for all three of my kids and having time freedom with them because I chose to step into full-time entrepreneurship.
Do you have any upcoming conferences, events, or workshops?
I’m super excited to be speaking at the Women Who Prosper Symposium & Awards Luncheon on Saturday, March 23rd at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, VA!
