Now, let me tell you, being an award-winning talk show host ain't just for show—I know how to keep the energy high and the laughs rolling!

Your entire mood shifts to “I am ready to get the hell up and outta here. Hontee!

I can’t say that I experienced this story, I just seen it played out, but I understand.

On the other hand, I would sell out before the event ended and took orders. I sold 4 flavors of tongue tantalizing Iced coffee the day the air conditioner decided to not work. Sip sip! I would want to hope that the 400 guests that were supposed to fill the gymnasium were told that the AC wasn’t working that's why only about 75 people showed up. But fear not, my Entrepreneurial Supa Stars, I'm here to save the day and train you on how to never be in that situation and get that bag before your friend Peri shows up!

I also spoke on my master class. I spilled some juicy details and mind-blowing tricks and tips. I impressed Coach Taurea so much that she asked me to open an event for her! Can you believe it? Oh, buckle up, buttercups, cause I'm about to spill the tea on "The Ernee Peppers Show"! Picture this: little Ernee, just a wide-eyed dreamer with a love for fashion, dancing, acting, and all things talk show. I mean, who didn't live for Joan Rivers and her late-night antics? So, fast forward to SVA College in New York, where I scored internships at the Montel Williams and Rolanda shows. Oh, honey, talk about getting a first-eye look at the behind-the-scenes peek! I was making booking calls, getting names, seating the audience, hyping aka entertaining the audience—heck, I practically ran the place! (not really but It sounded good) but you know what? Here is another head blow-up. The studio guest started noticing. They'd be like, "Girl, why don't you have your own show?" And I thought, "Hmm, maybe I should!" Hint hint they were only asking for me because either I spoke to them on the phone, and they enjoyed my over-the-top personality with a whole lot of energy to go with it. Now who wouldn’t like a young girl coming up with all that? To them, I was living my dream aka picture. And I was.

Quiet on the set! Roll cameras: 3,2, Cut to me stumbling into a Brooklyn Community Access TV meeting, 2004 where they are spilling the beans and chopping up the fat on how to become a TV producer and get your own show on the airwaves. If I was a cartoon, you would see my jaw just drop to the floor with a triple-back flip! I was awed with a big old grin on my face. Well, you can bet your bottom dollar I signed up faster than you can say "lights, camera, action"!

I took that two-day course to become a TV producer—one of my childhood dreams became a reality! I chose to interview up-and-coming artists, capturing their journey from ordinary to extraordinary, and had them perform right there in the studio. And let me tell you, it was a piece of cake! In 2019, I even snagged an award for "Best Entertaining Hosting Chops." Who would've thought? Now you probably saying “Why did it take you so long to get an award?” Glad you ask. Between being a mom, a wife, and working my money-making job with mandatory overtime. It took some time to be in the right headspace, get the right team, interview guests, and design the studio how I wanted FABULOUSLESSLY! Sidebar: (remind me whenever we have a live interview taping to tell you about how my husband hated my taping day. Hilarious! Even though he was the DJ). While having a 2-year-old daughter, an older son, and a husband everything was placed on hold. But I never lost my direction and focus.

So, there I was pitching this genius idea to a few agents. They were all ears, nodding along like I was about to serve up the next big thing in television. But just when I thought I had them hooked, in walks Miss Rona, uninvited and unwelcome, crashing the party like the proverbial wrecking ball.

Yep, you guessed it. The pandemic hit, and suddenly, my dreams of hosting the most epic cupcake-fueled conversations were squashed faster than you can say 'double shot espresso.' But hold on to your latte, because this story ain't over yet!
